Sofie and Sye made the infamous "Sye Cookies". They are always a big big. It was hilarious hearing Sofie calling them Sye Cookies as well.
August 14
We were invited to a wedding for one of Sye's coworkers. I had zero desire to go so Sofie quickly jumped in my place. She's a good backup!

Eating a banana. She goes through phases of wanting bananas and then not eating them for a bit. We're in the eating phase.

We walked down to the corner store for an ice cream. It was a nice walk. Sof decided to get a candy stick instead...big surprise :)

My best friend Erin threw me a baby shower today. It was food shower so everyone brought food for after the baby is born. It was a blast! Here's a cake that Shannon made. Pregnant Barbie.

Playing in the sandbox. Her newest thing is to use rain from the rain barrel to add to the sandbox. It is more like a mudbox now...

Today was the cancer fundraiser/memorial celebration for Sye's coworker, Chris Lane who passed away last year of cancer.

I was feeling sick today, actually the start of a 4 day virus. Nothing tastes better when you are sick then homemade soup.

We have a goal to paint one room a year in order to paint the house. It is an economic way to get things done and although slow, it adds up over a few years :) So...this year was the main floor bathroom.

I'm a bit behind with the posting. It must be the impending baby in our family :)
